Heavenly Courts & Chambers: An Introduction

Spirit School

Heaven is made up of various realms and regions, within some of these places are the courts, chambers and rooms in which the angelic beings function. We can see evidence of the existence of such things through the old testament. When God revealed the design of the tabernacle, he instructed Moses to make the Earthly replica according to the exact detail that Moses had seen, in the heavenly realm’s original.

The tabernacle does not represent the entirety of the realm of heaven, so it would be prudent to remember that the pattern laid out for us within its design is a fragment of the reality that exists in the heavenly realm.

I had longed to see and understand the courts of heaven for a while, I had even asked Jesus to take me there “on a tour”, and at times when the Holy Spirit took me into the heavenly realms, I would ask my personal angel in person, if I could go to the courts and see what they are like.

After much searching, I found myself in the spirit one day in 2019. I had been taken into the private study of my personal angel within his heavenly sanctuary. He was sat at his desk, writing on a crystal parchment with an ink that looked like it was made from fire. After he had finished writing, he rolled up the crystal parchment as if it were a scroll, sealed it and placed it into a chest before he turned towards me and welcomed me with a smile.

I asked him what was on the scroll, he replied that it was a record of a future prophecy and I was not permitted at that time to look into it. I had enough experience of personal interactions with angels to realise if I questioned him further on the scroll, I’d be met with silence or questions, so I told my personal angel that I wanted to understand the meaning of the courts and to go there.

He walked over to his desk, sat on what looked like a chair made from a mixture of oak and ivy, before he leaned back and gave me an inquisitive look as he asked “Why do you want to go to the courts?”

I was lost for words as I examined my thoughts. I realised I only wanted to go there because other people had claimed they had been there and I wanted to understand what I had heard from them. So I told him so.

He then replied, “Why go to the courts, Lee? When you can go direct to Father?”

I understood what was in the direction he pointed, from previous explorations of the heavenly realms; beyond the angelic palaces and the mountains made from fire and ice, far above the reaches of the thunderous clouds, lightning bolts, clouds of glory and deep into the glorious throne room of God. The school of angels, the chamber of scribes, war rooms, strategy chambers: the realm of angelic activity was usually accessed via different route. So I understood I had to re-orientate my heart towards Father and leave behind the desire to pursue the courts, although I did not fully comprehend why at that time.

Later in the year I was still seeking Jesus to understand the meaning of the heavenly courts. While I was in prayer, I was taken in spirit and I found myself stood before Jesus Christ. The floor beneath us was like sand and Jesus had a warm glow about him. I asked him if I could visit the courts, and he nodded in a certain direction, “They’re over there, Lee.”

He then drew a line in the sand between us and the courts, so I asked him what the line represented.

“We are here and the courts are there. This, where we are, represents my new covenant. The courts do exist, Lee, but not as you know them.”

At that point a window opened in the air and I saw directly into the court rooms, full of gold and fine architectural patterns lined the walls and ornately decorated tables, chairs and other furniture. The angelic beings that walked in their were dressed differently to others I had seen and among them walked some people.

“They are part of the old covenant,” Jesus spoke again and brought my attention back to him. “You can operate in the courts, but they operate under the spiritual laws and principles of the old covenant. An eye for an eye, when you bring cases through the courts you must follow the old covenant procedures, renunciations, declarations, bringing yourself before your adversary, the devil and dealing with all his claims against you. Each accusation must be dealt with under the old covenant principles. Yet here with me, on this side of the line in my new covenant, you stand in grace and I have taken every curse and accusation upon me at the cross. I am your advocate. Be bold and come before our Father with your requests, we want to hear from you.”

After Jesus disappeared, I was left standing alone by the line in the sand and I realised I did not want to have to toil through court case after court case with my requests and petitions. I wanted to sit with our Father in heaven, bathe in his light and love, hearing his voice and acting on Earth in response to his love. It was simple.

I then looked into the Holy Bible for any glimmer of truth that reflected my spiritual experience. If there was any truth in it and the spiritual experience was from Holy Spirit and not my imagination, I knew there had to be references to the courts of heaven within the old covenant. So I knew I had to look into the books of the law, known as the first five books of the Bible.

That’s when I came across Exodus 25:40, where Moses was instructed to make the tabernacle and its contents according to the design shown in heaven. As I studied the tabernacle and later, the temple, I realised it contained various courts and chambers, which were Earthly representations of a heavenly reality.

After receiving this revelation, I realised there is a difference between the legal courts of heaven, which pertain to the old covenant, and other courts of heaven. In the Hebrew language, the word court often means an area or region, which is surrounded by a boundary within which any activity pertains to the function of the “court”, which does not mean the court is a legal court as we may be inclined to think.

I also realised I could visit them and witness events therein. If I had cases to take to the heavenly realm though, I took them to our Father in heaven and followed his guidance. If he introduced me to angelic realms, rooms, chambers or courts etc, they were often not legal courts but strategy rooms, which I shall cover later in these sessions.

With this foundation, I will describe several of the courts, chambers and strategy rooms, revealing how the angels work within those places in line with the will of God.

To begin our tour of the heavenly rooms, it may be helpful to first explore the objects, practices and techniques that are common to most chambers, courts and rooms of operation in the angelic realm. These include scrolls, portals, jewels, liquids of various kinds (mostly water or fire) and orbs, each represent a different specific meaning and we shall explore these over the next few sessions.

Various Courts

In all courts there are one or more presiding angels who govern the court / chamber. They adhere to the rules and regulations of operating within the room, and delegate authority to angelic beings within those rooms. The courts exist for various reasons but all were setup before the creation of the physical world. They were designed for angelic beings to work and minister to the created world and its inhabitants.

Some are designed to be legislative courts, which operate under the spiritual principles of the old covenant, whereas others are more strategic and operational and serve to aid in organising the angelic ranks throughout the created realms, both visible and invisible.

Some angels may appear smaller within these rooms and they are easily mistaken as children, or younger angels. Their appearance actually relates to their level of operation within the room and their wisdom for such. As they leave the room they may be seen to instantly grow in size or their appearance morph, and vice versa for when they enter the room.

The courts are designed to govern operations over the physical and heavenly realms under the will of God. Some of the more well known and cited rooms and courts are the strategy room or the war room. They operate with the same principles as the other courts / chambers but their reason or function is very different.

All courts, chambers and rooms can be visited within a spiritual experience and as we progress through the coming sessions, we will explore them with a view to giving you food for thought and faith to see these realms in detail without feeling intimidated by procedure but rather encouraged by grace. For when we find ourselves in the presence of highly organised and functioning angelic beings, we may mistake their level of protocol to be our own, but these realms are angelic and not human or even the remit of the body of Christ, for we reside under the head which is Christ and operate within his remit and function, which is through all realms, although this is a subject for another session.
