Exploring The Unseen Spiritual Realms: An Explanation

The spirit realm is something that seems mysterious at best because we cannot see it with our eyes. Yet what if we could see it?

What if we could see the unseen realms around us; what would they look like?

What if we could walk through and interact with the unseen spirit realms that coexist alongside us; what would that feel like?

Many, like myself, seem to be born with the gift to see the unseen, interact with it, understand it and interpret the mysterious meaning of what happens there. Others have the gift granted to them while others still, pursue the ability with every intent to see the invisible. Regardless of the journey, the spirit realm is real and exists, perception of it can be a personal thing close to our heart, yet there remain some important truths to hold as we explore these mysterious and wonderful places.

Three things always remain, straight from the heart of God: faith, hope and love. These are the tenets and foundation of everything that happens within the heavenly (holy) spiritual realms and are binding principles by which, if we are guided by, will grant huge success in our interaction with the spiritual beings (angels and more), and objects in those realms.

These three principles characterise God. Love - God is love, it is the foundation of all he is and does. Faith - faith is a gift from God, it originates from him and by it we access the spiritual. Faith gives birth to hope, anchored in Jesus Christ who designed all the spiritual realms, the principles that govern them and the beings who dwell there.

We need to hold to these three foundations because when walk through the spirit realms, many realities will be visible to us that the naked eye cannot see, and these realities are governed by these three principles. We can even see the spiritual forces at play in a situation or someone's life, whether good or bad.

There is no formula or set method for entering into the spirit realm or perceiving it with our senses. What I can share are common themes that seem to weave into spiritual experiences and the experiences of those whom have walked among the realms of heaven.

Ask Holy Spirit

As all the gifts of God originate with God, so it is right and fitting to ask Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ or our Father in Heaven, to bring us into the heavenly realm. This approach helps us keep an open heart to things we might sense or feel. If you want to learn how to recognise your spirit senses then check out the spirit school section on this website, it contains various activations and mentoring sessions to help you grow in this area.

Ask Questions

If we sense something and are not sure what it is, we can ask Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ or Father in Heaven, to clarify what we are sensing. As we dialogue with God throughout a spiritual experience, we grow our spirit's capacity for deeper experiences that may come in the future.

Be Thankful

Honour is a foundation in the Kingdom of Heaven and giving thanks for the honour and privilege of seeing the spirit realm renders our heart receptive to further spiritual sight, and greater measure exposure to the things of God.

Be Prepared for Surprises and Unusual Sights

The spirit realm is a beautiful place but it is full of things that defy the physical laws of the universe. Such as upside down waterfalls, pools of water that are on the ceiling that can be stepped into and lead to the bottom of lakes or oceans elsewhere. Palaces and houses made from glass adorn balconies made from marble and entwined in foliage, that sit above a cushion of clouds.

There are some places that seem to float through the air, and are completely disconnected from other realms, and between them sit portals that connect them instantly. The school of angels where I encountered Archangels Michael and Gabriel, and was introduced to the Hebrew language through a scroll that Gabriel showed me. Transversing between places is as simple as thought, it is as if when an angel approaches and offers and invite, immediately we can end up in the suggested place (Revelation 4:1).

So be prepared to be suddenly transported to another place.

Do Not Be Quick To Dismiss

It can be tempting to dismiss spiritual experience as imagination or a trick of the mind, but an easy way to test the experience is to share it with others who understand the realm of spirit. Sharing also helps us to learn how to distinguish what we really saw in the spirit realm. Sharing can also help us learn and grow in our interpretation of the spirit realm as well.

Portals

Often the Lord draws us into the spirit realm through a spiritual technology called a portal. These are connections in spirit, between locations and allow instantaneous travel between places. Portals can exist between heaven and Earth, and these bypass all realms in between. These are rare here on Earth, but when they do exist the angelic move swiftly and there can be an abundance of miracles and a sense of being very close to God.

Portals tend to have various appearances, including circles that hang in the air, doors, windows or pools of water.

When people travel through portals, it can appear as though they are rushing through something like a galaxy, or are surrounded by stars, and have a general feeling of an upward pull, or their hearts feel an uplift to heaven, meanwhile as a portal is opened, the surrounding areas around the opening can feel tumultuous as if caught in a whirlwind.

We can often recognise when the Lord is drawing us into a spirit realm experience through identifying the effect, or spirit senses, of a portal.
